me: is there a mouse in your house?
tc: i saw it and i'm not happy. i don't want it dead, just not in my house where it can crawl on me. i don't want to wake up one morning face-to-face with a mouse on my chest. it's not my cup of tea. i don't want it crawling on my countertops or in my shoe...only to surprise my foot later when i put it in the shoe. but i have to go back upstairs, because i don't think the mouse can get me there. and don't tell me otherwise, or i will have to move out.
me: the mouse is staying downstairs. he cannot navigate the steps.
tc: that is what i choose to believe, although ratatouille tells me otherwise.
