confession

i have a confession to make. i have hinted in the past about how embarrassing my dvr list is, and today's the day for me to share its contents with you. it gets especially bad in the summer, since all my favorite shows are on hiatus and i'm relegated to watching some really bad/addictive reality tv. okay, at this point i'm just trying to justify my choices...i'll let you see for yourselves.

real housewives of new jersey

status: i'm a little over the family drama, so i'm thisclose to deleting this show from my must-watch list. i did this already to real housewives of new york - the cattiness got to be too much even for me. but i can't lie, i'm still excited for the housewives seasons in atlanta, beverly hills, miami, and orange county. bring. it. on.

monday

bachelor pad

status: i swore up and down i would NEVER watch this bachelor/bachelorette spin-off. i thought it looked awful and beyond my tolerance level for trashy tv. then i traveled for work last summer and watched it for the first time when i was desperate for some mindless entertainment. i got addicted. oops!

wednesday

so you think you can dance

status: i'm not embarrassed about this at all. as an ex-dancer, i'm super judgy of shows like this (i.e. i don't watch dancing with the stars), and all the contestants are beyond talented. i love it!!

million dollar listing

status: i should be embarrassed about this show because it's so scripted, but i'm not. i even got my boyfriend slightly addicted to this show, and i love watching it with him...even though josh altman is his favorite - and here i thought he had good judgment!

friday

say yes to the dress!

status: i don't watch this show to get inspired by dresses for my own future wedding. i watch it to see how crazy the brides get, and how much moolah they're really willing to spend on a one-day-only gown. new york, atlanta, bridesmaids edition - no matter what, it's must-see-tv.
